1.Consensus of signed networked multi-agent systems with nonlinear coupling and communication delays

摘要:This paper investigates the consensus problem in networks of agents with antagonistic interactions and communication delays. For undirected signed networks, we respectively establish two dynamic models corresponding to linear and nonlinear coupling. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and some other mathematical analysis, it is proved that all agents on signed networks can reach agreement on a consensus value except for the sign. Further, a bipartite consensus solution is given for linear coupling networks, and an explicit expression associating with bipartite consensus solution is provided for nonlinear coupling networks. Finally, numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.

2. Composite learning adaptive sliding mode control of fractional-order nonlinear systems with actuator faults

摘要:This paper considers the tracking control of fractional-order nonlinear systems (FONSs) in triangular form with actuator faults by means of sliding mode control (SMC) and composite learning SMC (CLSMC). In SMC design, a fractional sliding surface is introduced, and an adaptation law is designed to update the estimation of the mismatched parametric uncertainty in the actuator faults. The proposed SMC can guarantee the convergence of the tracking error where a persistent excitation (PE) condition should be satisfied. To overcome this limitation, by using the online recorded data and the instantaneous data, a prediction error of the parametric uncertainty is defined. Both the tracking error and the prediction error are utilized to generate a composite learning law. A composite learning law is designed by using the prediction error and the tracking error. The proposed CLSMC can guarantee not only the stability of system but also the accurate estimation of the parametric uncertainties in the actuator faults. In CLSMC, only an interval-excitation (IE) condition that is weaker than the PE one should be satisfied. Finally, simulation example is presented to show the control performance of the proposed methods.

3. Stability and Hopf bifurcation of controlled complex networks model with two delays

摘要:This paper considers Hopf bifurcation of complex network with two independent delays. By analyzing the eigenvalue equations, the local stability of the system is studied. Taking delay as parameter, the change of system stability with time is studied and the emergence of inherent bifurcation is given. By changing the value of the delay, the bifurcation of a given system can be controlled. Numerical simulation results confirm the validity of the results found.

4. Global output feedback control for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown homogenous growth condition

摘要:This paper investigates the problem of global control for a class of nonlinear systems via output feedback. The system nonlinearities satisfy the homogenous growth condition with unknown growth rate. First, a homogenous observer is constructed for estimating the system state. Then, two novel dynamic gains are presented to deal with the unknown growth rate. Subsequently, by adding a power integrator technique, a dynamic output feedback controller is designed to guarantee that all the signals of the closed‐loop system are bounded and the system states globally converge to origin. Finally, an example is provided to illustrate the validity of the proposed control scheme.

5. Stabilization of Boolean control networks under aperiodic sampled-data control

摘要:A novel technique is provided for the global stability analysis of Boolean control networks (BCNs) under aperiodic sampled-data control (ASDC). The sampling period is allowed to be taken from a limited number of values. Using the semitensor product of matrices, a BCN under ASDC can be converted into a switched Boolean network (BN). Here, the switched BN can only switch at sampling instants, which does not mean that the switches occur at each sampling instant. For the switched BN, we consider two cases: (i) switched BN with all stable subsystems; (ii) switched BN containing both stable subsystems and unstable subsystems. For these two cases, the techniques of switching-based Lyapunov function and the average dwell time method are used to derive sufficient conditions for global stability of BCNs under ASDC, respectively. The upper bounds of the cost function, which is defined to guarantee that the considered BCN is not only globally stabilized but also can assurance the performance at an appropriate level, are determined, respectively. Moreover, an algorithm is presented to construct the ASDCs. Finally, the obtained results are demonstrated by several examples.

6. Exponential and fixed-time synchronization of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks with time-varying delays and reaction-diffusion terms

摘要:This paper is devoted to the global exponential and fixed-time synchronization of delayed reaction-diffusion Cohen–Grossberg neural networks. Adaptive controllers are designed such that the addressed system can realize global exponential synchronization goal under the framework of inequality techniques, Lyapunov method as well as some suitable assumptions. Furthermore, as corollaries, the corresponding conclusion is provided to ensure the delayed Cohen–Grossberg neural networks without reaction-diffusion term can reach fixed-time synchronization goal. In addition, the settling time of fixed-time synchronization can be adjusted to desired values regardless of initial conditions, which is more reasonable. Finally, two numerical examples and its simulations are given to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.

7. Bifurcations in a delayed fractional complex-valued neural network

摘要:Complex-valued neural networks (CVNNs) with integer-order have attracted much attention, and which have been well discussed. Fractional complex-valued neural networks (FCVNNs) are more suitable to describe the dynamical properties of neural networks, but have rarely been studied. It is the first time that the stability and bifurcation of a class of delayed FCVNN is investigated in this paper. The activation function can be expressed by separating into its real and imaginary parts. By using time delay as the bifurcation parameter, the dynamical behaviors that including local asymptotical stability and Hopf bifurcation are discussed, the conditions of emergence of bifurcation are obtained. Furthermore, it reveals that the onset of the bifurcation point can be delayed as the order increases. Finally, an illustrative example is provided to verify the correctness of the obtained theoretical results.

8. Controlling bifurcation in a delayed fractional predator-prey system with incommensurate orders

摘要:This paper investigates an issue of bifurcation control for a novel incommensurate fractional-order predator–prey system with time delay. Firstly, the associated characteristic equation is analyzed by taking time delay as the bifurcation parameter, and the conditions of creation for Hopf bifurcation are established. It is demonstrated that time delay can heavily effect the dynamics of the proposed system and each order has a major influence on the creation of bifurcation simultaneously. Then, a linear delayed feedback controller is introduced to successfully control the Hopf bifurcation for such system. It is shown that the control effort is markedly influenced by feedback gain. It is further found that the onset of the bifurcation can be delayed as feedback gain decreases. Finally, two illustrative examples are exploited to verify the validity of the obtained newly results.

9. Stability analysis of reaction-diffusion uncertain memristive neural networks with time-varying delays and leakage term

摘要:In this paper, the stability problem is investigated for a class of reaction-diffusion uncertain memristive neural networks with time-varying delays and leakage term. To investigate the dynamic behavior of the memristive system, we turn to the qualitative analysis of a relevant differential inclusion under the framework of Filippov’s solution, which is easier to handle. By using Lyapunov stability theory, Jensen integral inequality, Schur complement Lemma, free-weighting matrix approach together with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, the sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the stability of the considered systems. The easy-to-test stability criteria established in this paper depend on the leakage delay as well as the reaction-diffusion terms, which is more reasonable. Moreover, the existing stability criteria can be treated as a special case of this paper. Finally, two numerical examples are exploited to show the effectiveness of the derived LMI-based stability conditions.

10. ON CONTROLLABILITY OF DELAYED BOOLEAN CONTROL NETWORKS

摘要:This paper is devoted to studying the trajectory and state controllability of Boolean control networks (BCNs) with time delay. In contrast to BCNs without time delay, the dynamics of delayed BCNs are determined by a sequence of initial states, named here trajectories. Trajectory controllability means that there exists a control signal steering a system from an initial trajectory to a desired trajectory, while state controllability means that there exists a control signal steering an initial state to a given state. Here, both trajectory controllability and state controllability will be studied. It should be noted that in this paper, trajectory controllability does not mean tracking or following a given trajectory. In fact it means to control BCNs to a destination trajectory of length $\mu$ at the $k$-th step. Using the semi-tensor product of matrices, the delayed BCNs are first converted into an equivalent algebraic description, and then some necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for the trajectory controllability of delayed BCNs. We further present a bijection between the state of BCNs and the trajectory of length $\mu$, which is then used to derive some necessary and sufficient conditions for the state controllability of delayed BCNs. Both the problems of controlling an initial state sequence to a desired state and a desired trajectory are first investigated. We also consider the issues of avoiding some specific states which may cause diseases or lead to dangerous situations. Numerical examples are given to illustrate our theoretical results.
